If there is one thing all the major social networks have in common, it’s their emphasis on visual content creation. Almost all platforms support this method, but the question is – why do they? It’s because they know that it’s the form of content most well received by audiences. This is backed up by Social Media Examiner’s Report which stated that  41% of marketers said that visual marketing was the most effective form of content for their business.

 

Creating content is one thing but creating it fast and efficiently is another matter. Digital Marketers are relying on tools that can help them create quality content on the fly, that is also appealing and engaging. One of the tools out there that can help in making that process efficient is Visme and the best thing is that no graphic design experience is required.

 

The team at Visme recently gave me the chance to review their product in its entirety and I have to say, I was quite impressed. So what is Visme? Visme is an online platform that allows users to create engaging visual content within minutes. Specifically, you can create:

 

• Infographics
• Presentations
• Banners Ads

…and other visual content from scratch depending on your needs.

 

 

I was quite excited to try it out as I had been looking for an online application that could assist with creating infographics for a while.  So what is Visme and why should you consider using it? Let’s start at the beginning.

 

THE BASICS:

Before we start here are the basics you need to know about Visme. The platform gives you four options to sign up and get started creating right away – basic, standard, complete and team options.

 

Basic Level:

The basic level offered by Visme is FREE of charge and allows for the creation of up to 3 projects and 100MB of storage. As with any free account levels, this one has some limitations which include limited access to templates, charts & widgets and the ability to only export in JPG or PNG. Projects created on this level will also carry the Visme logo branding.

 

Standard Level:

For a cost of $10/month, the standard level ups the ante from the basic package allowing for the creation of up to 15 projects, 250MB of storage and access to all premium assets, templates, charts and widgets. At this level, you are now able to also download in PDF format in addition to JPG and PNG offered on the basic level. There is also no Visme branding on your projects.

 

Complete Level:

The complete level is for that entrepreneur that is full force in creating visual content for their business. This level allows unlimited projects as well as unlimited storage. There is also the ability to download in HTML 5 format in addition to the formats allowed in the basic and standard level. This level gives access to the slide library, privacy controls, and the ability to collect and store leads. You are also able to record audio for any of your presentations. The complete level comes at a cost of $20/month.

 

Team Level:

For $60/month, the team level encompasses everything in the previous levels with a little extra sauce thrown in. You’re allowed to add up to three users to the account, share projects and folders and have full control over permissions of those users. This would be great for a business with a small marketing team.

WHAT I LOVE:

The first thing that struck me about Visme was the beautifully designed templates they had to offer. This reduced the amount of time an entrepreneur like myself has to take to design professional looking content for their audience to consume. Overall, Visme’s UI is intuitive and can be easily used if you’re familiar with presentation software like Powerpoint or Keynote.

 

I would highly recommend this online platform should your aim be creating visual content to market your business. If you’re an entrepreneur like myself or a small business owner who can’t afford to consistently hire a graphic designer, this platform will allow you to create beautifully designed content as fast as you can say “done”.
